clapton - change the world

Unread post by saleen » Tue Jul 29, 2003 12:18 am

this has become one of my favorite songs but I could never get the chorus to sound right......... so I finally looked it up.

Code: Select all

F#m7 G#7 C#m7 D#m7b5 G#7 C#m7
Change........The world I will be the sunlight in your universe

D#m7b5 G#7 C#m7 Cm7
You would think my love was really something

Bm7 A Eadd2/G# E/G# Eø/G F#m7(Type 2) E
Good, baby if I could change...................... The world.
no wonder I couldn't get it all to sound right

edit/ps: anyone know what key that is in? the rest of the song is in Em but when I try and jam eminor to those chords it doesn't seem to sound good. (as in it doesn't sound good at all)

C#min/Emaj, and before you do the final E chord of the chorus, slide to a B11, or 7X765X...sounds super sweet...
