So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

is there a tab for rapunzel's main riff tabbed out in chords instead of just notes?

playing chords over that is very tricky...the chords are F G and Dm7, but they come in at very tough places... if you understand how to read music i can explain it better...

these chords come from tim reynolds' part in the studio recording, and i got them from the official tab book, i can show you exactly what they are if you want...

well here's a way to explain it...

when the main riff hits on the 8th fret play the F which is:

e: x
b: 6
g: 5
d: 7
a: x
e: x

when the main riff hits the 5th fret on the d string play the G which the same thing as the F, but just two frets up...

the chords are right after each other real quick, but luckily they use the same shape...

the rest of the measure you can just kinda mess around with a Dm7 (you can play it anyway thats best for you...)

Yep, fatjack is right...it sounds right along with the album if you do it right.
