raised b 12 string

so i was thinking about trying to put my 12 string in raised b.has anyone done this? i do relize its gonna be a pain in the ass (lots of different gauges)but i think it will sound great.if anyone has any advice for me it will be much appciated. thanks

well because i already have one of my guitars in raised b and i love the way it sounds and i think a 12 string in raised b would sound awsome.

I would be careful about the tension that would put on the neck. I'm not 100% but i think raised be is tighter overall than standard tuning. Considering that some 12er's necks snap under normal pressure, you may want to reconsider.

Yeah dude, stick with the six-string you have in Raised B. Nobody plays anything in Raised B on a 12-string anyways

yeah i dont think its ever been done.i guess maybe ill be the first to try it

Let us know how that goes cuz I've actually been curious as to what that would sound like. Hopefully it doesn't sound like a guitar splintering.
