Hey guys, I dont know how many of you guys are jazz people but I'm lookin to get a new axe and need some suggestions. I don't have 3k$ to drop on a Gibson 335 instead i want to spend around 500$ on something nice, and eventually change the pickups and hardware down the line.

So far, the best thing I've found is this Ibanez. Not american made, but Ive played/heard it and it sounds nice and the price is great.

as83 is a good guitar, also the af75 is worth checking out if you're looking at an artcore

I play a Gibson ES-137, but I play jazz almost exclusively. I'd really suggest saving up to buy a really nice guitar, but Ibanez does make pretty good guitars from what I hear. If it plays well and sounds how you want it to, go for it. Make sure to try it on your own amp before buying.
