music

Unread post by bassman462 » Sun Jan 28, 2007 10:46 pm

So lately I've been writing a lot more music, and practicing more guitar in general. and recently recorded three new songs, a lie in our graves cover, and 2 originals. I'd like if anyone would want to just to check out the songs. My voice currently is being worked on so it's not really that great, I'm very pitchy, some parts more then others. in lie in our graces, i messed up greatly, and probably shouldn't of used it because of the screw up. but I just want a little more feedback on my guitar playing, and the song writing part of the music. not as much as my lyrics. so yes, much critiquing is required.

though please try to phrase in more of a polite manner. I know most of the time people are around here, but considering it's me, I know some negative attention will usually be attracted.

I heard Lie in Our Graves and the guitar playing sounds good.

Voice sounds a little low in volume and it's even hard to listen sometimes. It was also a bit off in some spots.
I liked what you did in the breakdown a lot!

Keep practicing and keep them coming!!

liog needs a little work on the vocals, you have to work on letting go, really belting it. you may have a great voice under there, no one would ever know. the guitar is pretty decent, but there is still room for improvement.

ya, I tend to always be shy on my vocals cause im worried about notes, and projecting correctly. in choir im a little more out, and when im singing showtunes.
