What pedal does he use that makes his guitar sound almost likek a violin.. you can hear it a lot on LLC..

Are you talking about the volume swells? He uses a volume pedal for that. See above post if that's what your talking about.

Just volume swells (no volume during pick attack to the string and then quick volume increase) with some delay (Boss DD6 for instance)

my friend does it just by adjusting the volume on his guitar while hammering notes. he's practiced it a lot so he has it down pretty well. it gets a similiar sound. but not extremely close.
