dave and big voice jack

Heres a cool video of dave and big voice jack playing OSW, ive heard alot about big voice jack but this is the first time ive actually seen any video of him, pretty cool stuff

big voice jack from south africa.... i have this vid and it is soo cool to see how he picks up on the part with the penny wistle...

Roi plays the same exact part on his sax on more modern versions of OSW. Did he get that from BVJ? Or vice versa?

Kind of off topic, but dave talking about how he's not really good at explaining music kind of sparked this question - Does Dave even know how to read music? Was he properly trained on guitar to read music and to know music theory or did he just kind of teach himself?
