tiny guitar suggestion
tiny guitar suggestion
Hi everyone
I'm looking into buying a smaller than average guitar for taking with me other places so I don't have to lug around my big hard cased nice epiphone with me everywhere...
After looking around, just thought I'd come here see if any of you could suggest a good option. Seeing as I already have a good guitar i don't know if 3/4 would be the right size, or if 1/2 is too small or whatever.
Let me know, I need your infinite wisdom.

I have the Martin Back Packer and in opinion it is very below average...I wish that I would have spent the extra money bought a Martin LX1 instead.Easy E wrote:i've seen people with these before

I was happy with one of these. A little on the expensive side, but it sounded dam close to my 314ce just brighter.

For us living any other ways was nuts. with all the goodie-goodies working shitty jobs for bum pay checks, took the subway work and worried about their bills were dead. they were suckers, they had no balls. if we wanted something we just took it, and if anybody complained twice they got hit so hard believe me they never complained again

I have a washburn rover travel guitar that is similar to the martin backpacker. I though that I would use it all the time but ive only had it out about 3 times. Its not the sound that I hate, its the fact that its so uncomfortable to play. Standing with a strap is about the only way..

I got a backpacker as a Christmas gift many years ago. If I had played it beforehand, I never would have actually asked for the thing. It is like putting strings on a baseball bat and playing it, very awkward, and the sound is about what you'd expect from stringing up a baseball bat too. I brought it back to the store and bought a cheap full size Aria guitar to bum around with.
But I really like the Taylor Baby and Big Baby.

but yeah, I played my uncles backpacker and i didnt think it was all that bad. I dont know pricing, but from what i've heard the taylor might be a better option.
