Last week our high school went to DECA Nationals, which is like a business or marketing class. Well we went into this nice resteraunt that was the only one around anywhere. I went up to the bathroom and to my suprise, Tripping Billies comes on.

As soon as I heard the first couple of notes I gave a WHOOOO!!!! and didnt care what anybody thought. That was my first time hearing DMB from the state of Texas, most of their crap music is country and rap. So I was really happy and excited, even after hearing a song I already heard 1000 times, it was nice to hear it one more.
When I returned to my table, I told her about what happened in the bathroom. Two days previous to that day, I overheard how they were going to the DMB concert. I told her the song and she was like, "Oh thats cool.........Wait, is that by Dave Matthews."

I'd like a refund of my 35 seconds please.

I don't know if this is sad, but when i'm out at the bars it always makes my night a little better and happier if I hear some Dave tunes come on. I'll be in the middle of a convo and just stop to appreciate it

Whenever i go to the bars i always put some dmb or d+t in the jukebox, sometimes i won't even stay in the bar to hear the songs. Everyone else needs a little dmb sometimes

I thought this was gonna be a great story or something... guess not. That type of stuff happens all the time with the average Dave fan, they can hardly name a song other than ants marching or one of the other radio played songs.

This does seem to be true. I hate it when i meet people and they say that they are absolute total "dave heads" and then i ask them what their favorite album is and after a bit a confusing thought they say, "uh, the black one?"
I've never met a bigger dmb fan than myself other than on the net.

Same here.
What's worse than those people you speak of are the ones that are fans, can name the band members, and yet still mispronounce Carter Beauford as Carter Be
uford. I'm almost embarrassed for them... but not really.

Last time I was in the House of Blues in Vegas, they played Crush. Oddly enough, I got REALLY happy.
