I was wonderin' if you guys listen to him. He's probably one of the best guitarists I have ever seen. IMO

He's the guy they say sold his soul to the devil in exchange for awesome guitar skills, right? I listened quite a bit to him last summer, but completely forgot about him...I'm gonna check him out again though, thanks for the reminder ;)

I think you're thinking of Robert Johnson. He sold his soul to the devil at the crossroads. He's a blues guitarist.
Eric Johnson is famous for his guitar solos. Kinda of like Joe Satriani. Eric Johnson is touring this summer, but I don't know with who. Might be Jeff BEck.

Didn't Satriani, Beck and Johnson do a tour or still tour together?

he toured with vai, and satriani for a while i beleive, theyve got a DVD - live at e3 - its on japan, its pretty sweet to, cool watch.. he prob gets the best tone ive ever heard out of any guitaurist ever... if you can pick up the eric johnson austin city limits, i highly recommend it.. some GREAT music on there

Both of those DVD's are sweet. I love Trail of Tears from Austin City Limits. I also think East Wes is amazing.

east wes is prob my fav song, and its awsome on that DVD
