Need Help Identifying a guitar

Unread post by jacobie423 » Tue Apr 04, 2006 9:08 pm

Hey,
I saw this music video on tv from a brittish singer named Corinne Bailey Rae, and I've been trying to find out what brand the acoustic guitar is that is shown in the video.
Here's the link, click on the second video under "also see."

The guitar looks almost identical to a Taylor 414ce, however the headstock looks like a Martin Headstock, and the pickguard is solid black. Anyone have any ideas as to what kind of guitar this is?

Okay, so I think it might be a lakewood cutaway, given the headstock and all. Anyone know if Lakewood makes such a model?

I think its a lakewood too, the only other company i know with writing on the headstock like that is Takamine but that was not a tak head stock...
Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?

What's the deal with Lakewoods? No one ever talks about them around here. Are they decent? Expensive?

Lakewoods look really great. One can also tell from LLC that they sound good (I used to think it was a Martin...).

I've never played one, but I'd love to.
