Does anyone know what kind of guitar Dave played on The Space Between, and is it in the same tuning as Bartender which is standard with the low E string dropped to D?

also, you can't tune down to that, you will have to use the alternate tab for standard guitar on the website

Actually you can, but the strings will buzz a little more.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

Techincally you can but the string buzz would be madness unless you have high action or tighter strings.
