OK, so I installed a Fishman under the saddle pick up into my Taylor and it sounds great through speakers, but I'm unsatisfied with how it's recording onto Cool Edit Pro (I have both versions 1.2a and 2.0). I think it sounds a bit muffled and I don't like it......help!@ Ive adjusted the Windows Record volume to both low and high levels and it makes no difference...still sounds muffled - mainly just when I play chords.
PLease listen to this one minute sample and tell me if there's something I can do to improve the recording quality....I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!
Don't ask me why I chose Minarets as the sound sample, I haven't touched this song in like a year, but oh well. Oh, and Fire, I ripped off your Minarets intro, hope you don't mind!

that sounded pretty good to me. I'd like to hear what it sounds like when you strum and play strings hard.

clarity is good for the most part, but there is a little lacking it the treble department...but any upgrade is cool...just fool around with it...you will find a nitch...
and if you listen to R2T, I believe there is a little like that you call mine in there at the beginning in the rain...

maybe put some compression on it......that might bring out some of the treble, and clean up the bass a little, but honestly it sounded pretty clean.
i'de be happy with that kinda sound.
