one more say goodbye question

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

one more say goodbye question

Unread post by proudestmonkey41 » Wed Dec 14, 2005 7:28 pm

at the end of the song when he sings "and we'll stay heeeeeeeereeee, lovers, and tomorrow back to being friendss yeaaa" then he goes into the really intense part.. what chords is he playing? i cant quite figure it out from the tab.. the vid i have looks like he starts with an A when he says lovers.. but im not sure what comes after that before the "say goodbye" part.

Code: Select all

"Say Goodbye..."

E:------------------
B:---3-----3-----0-- <---3on2
G:---x-----2-----2--
D:---4-----x-----2-- <---2on2
A:---2-----x--------
E:-3-3-----2--------
that's the part. you start with an A...you're right. start with an A...then play those chords. (the last chord is the A that you started with....)

hope that helped. and also, the A is played twice as long as each of the other two chords.
