Tripping Mixos
Don't worry, this is not about how to play the verse, I have been able to do that easily for years. I'm wondering more about improvizing over the verse chords, like timmy does, between verses. Watching timmy's hands, I know there is a scale for it but hearing it as the chords pass by is difficult. It cannot be straight A major because of the chords, but I think it is one of the mixolydians. Anybody who knows more about this than I do please let me know.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
