So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

What is the reference when the crowd chants "Blastoff"?

Also, is there anywhere on this site or any thread someone can point me to that might explain how to read tabs? I have the general idea but somtimes I am confused on whether to strum all strings or not other times it will have somthing marked twice but in listening to the song I know it is only once. I assume I am reading the tabs improperly and want to correct that. TY in advance for any feeback available.

In all my many years as a DMB fan I don't think that I have ever heard a "Blastoff" chant at a show...are you sure that you are not hearing a chant for the song "Last Stop"? :D

At the end of the Central Park DVD the crowd chants "One more song!" over and over. Not sure if that could be confused with "blast off"

I'm not sure if it was the start of it, but the crowd on "The Gorge" Disc 6 is doing it.

Dave comes out before LBV and says, "I heard y'all." He plays LBV, then quickly teases Last Stop. Only a few members of the crowd catch it. They keep chanting it, he replies. "You're all crazy, we already talked about that."
Then they drop Halloween and Billies. I don't think they minded the trade off.
