Other Community/Forums for Guitar Videos???

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Other Community/Forums for Guitar Videos???

Unread post by myonlybliss » Mon Aug 29, 2005 12:43 pm

This site has helped me tremendously with learning Dave Guitar songs. I am wondering if any other band out there has a "following" like DMB where there are open forums like this for guitar help with videos of fans etcc..

For example, i would like to see how someone plays "over the hills and far away" by Zeppelin. Are there any sites with videos of someone playing this?

I think i heard awhile back that John Mayer had this kinda board but not near as much info as dmbtabs.

thanks

john mayer has jmtabs.com. the videos are not as numerous as the ones here, the forums aren't nearly as big. still, if you're looking for a quality mayer site it's good. as for other sites, there is a whole list of sites for every artist stickied in the general guitar forum. as for videos, i don't think many sites host- here it's always been 'can someone post a video of this' and usually someone will. i think this is one of the few video sites out there.
hosting the oscars is like winning the heisman trophy. no matter how you do in the ballgame, or whatever, they can't take it away from you. and even if you kill your wife and an ex-waiter, they still have a hard time taking it away from you
