So Damn Lucky

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

So Damn Lucky

I've watched about three or four videos on this and in every one of them he does the little run on the last "does that screaming come from me?" during the chorus. I used to think that this was Tim's part, but would it be safe to say that this is Dave's part during the song? Could be part of the new updates whenever Kanter gets around to them. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this or if I just happened to have seen this on these select few that I've seen. Anyway...I think it sounds better when playing it solo with that run.
Peace

Not really sure what part your talking about as he doesn't seem to do any runs but I may be wrong. What video's have you been watching?

What tim plays and what dave plays is quite different. I have the cherry lane book for this and tim's parts are all crazy arpeggios from various bar chords. So maybe a part you thought was tim was dave all along. Just a thought.

that's a great video. as soon as i watched that i listened to the song three times and learned how to play it, just because i was like wow, that's such an awesome song.
hosting the oscars is like winning the heisman trophy. no matter how you do in the ballgame, or whatever, they can't take it away from you. and even if you kill your wife and an ex-waiter, they still have a hard time taking it away from you
