Cool Edit Question...

So I'm recording a song..and I plugged headphones into my laptop so I can just play along with the song..but when I start to play it and play along with it my computer records the actual song that I'm playing through iTunes. It's pissing me off and I don't know how to fix it. I'm pretty sure this hasn't happened before when I did this. Can anyone help?

Start --> All Programs --> Accessories --> Entertainment --> Volume Control

File --> Properties

"Recording"

Okay

check "select" under microphone or equivalent (the one you want to record)
