Tim's part on #41

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Tim's part on #41

Unread post by Alfonso41 » Mon Jun 13, 2005 3:29 pm

I'm having some trouble figuring out the tabs to Tim's part during #41 at Dave and Tim shows. It starts right after Dave goes into, "Begging slow I'm coming here..", And ends right after Dave says, "I wanted to stay, I wanted to play, I wanted to love you." Tim's part goes along with Dave's voice earlier in the song when he sings, "Dow dowww dowdowdow.. x4". I really hope this makes sense. Anyways, thanks alot for your help.

Peace.

Sean

On the E string, it's - 7p5 5 3 2 5. Of course switching up by using the B string it helps, but I don't know how to "code" the text here. The notes are b-a-a-f#-g-a. Does that help at all?
It's only after we've lost everything, that we are free to do anything.

Anyone know the electric part that timmy plays throughout the entire studio #41? I'm talking about that 4-5 note riff. Help would be appreciated!

He plays the first chord of the 5 chords used in the end. For the chorus he plays all 5 chords. He is basically playing the original 41police part Dave played live.
