WAYG
Is it just me or does it seem like they play Where are you going ALOT? 3/5 shows this year, 22/46 in '04 and 28 times in '03. Does the band really like this song THAT MUCH or do they just play it to keep the recent DMB fans happy?
I realize that they are going to play it some of the time, but they have been playing over half the time. I guess I am just venting since they are playing so many songs from SU. I'm hoping that the other songs that are played are good songs.

WAYG might be my least favorite dmb song ever. that and crash or my 2 least favorite songs to here live. it's like seeing mayer and he plays YBIAW. all the 13 yr old girls come out of the woodworks.

WAYG and I Did It are my two least favorites. Its not DMB, but my all time least favorite Dave song is Gravedigger. I dunno why, I just really don't like it. And he won a fucking grammy for that song!checkii wrote:i dont mind satellite. i think that and the stone gets some of the coolest lighting effects during performance. yes, i am a dork and pay atention to lighting.

i think WAYG is in the same category as Crash and Satellite in the sense that its a softer song that became really popular with the casual listener. therefore, i think they tend to play one of these three at every show and since crash and satellite are older, wayg is gettin its reps

WAYG is just one of those songs that I can never get into. When D&T play Satellite with the off key intro it is pretty cool. And sometimes D&T Crash can be good. With Crash, I think it is a good song that has just been overplayed and especially by screaming people that know very little about DMB. With WAYG, I think it is just bad a song.

I saw True Reflections in 03 and it was pretty sick compared to Where Are You Going? Ive never seen Satalitte and would really like too, so I cant complain about it. But WAYG is really boring live. At least with Crash Into Me you get some energy at the end, WAYG is just standard.jsgksu wrote:I pee during True Reflections.
