trouble with you?

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

trouble with you?

Unread post by Adma » Tue May 24, 2005 12:03 am

First of all I'd just like to say that this song is really one of my new favorites along with smooth rider and steady as we go.

Anyways, can anyone get this song to sound right and make a recording, or just give me some tips on how to get it to sound more like the song itself? I follow that tab in drop D, and just can't get it to work out quite right... the two slides at the end of the intro riff got me really thrown off, maybe I can't read it right.

edit: actually, if anyone can submit tips, audio/video recordings for trouble with you, smooth rider, or steady as we go, that would make this thread awesome. :)

well, you didnt specify what tabs you were using

I know he has recording and videos for some songs on that link (not sure if the ones you want are recorded or not) but this album is very bland and weird (if thats the word Im looking for) on solo guitar, so it may be hard to make it sounds really good just by yourself.
