JMTabs.com has a video if you're looking at learning how to play it.

Why Georgia is actually one of the easiest mayer songs to play. Just keep practicing. Try ManOn The Side, Sucker, Neon, if you want some really tough ones. Mayer is awesome. I have gotten so much better in the last two years after studying his songs and how to play his style.
practice, practice, practice...

Ya, last nihgt I was learnign 3x5 and Why Georgia and was supprised at how easy they both are. I havent mastered them by any means, but they both are very smoke and mirrors songs.

Yea it is tough at first, but it is good to learn the acoustic, nonpick, slapping percusive style. In my opinion, it is important to learn to play without a pick at an early stage of learning the guitar. To get the slapping technique down right will take time, but i believe is essential to being a well rounded acoustic player. Mayers songs helped me get better, just learn one after another and they will get easier. When i first started learning his acoustic stuff, i instantly fell in love with his chord styles and shapes. He uses alot of jazz and blues based chords and progressions, two genres i wasnt too familiar with. There are alot of pretty chords that mayer introduced to me. They are mostly standard jazz chords, but were new to me. Practice, practice, practice. Try "comfortable". The verse has a great progression, with a pretty sound. He is a great songwriter. Also check out http://www3.sympatico.ca/g403z/ for all your mayer tabs. They are all 100% accurate. jmtabs.com is good, but there are some mistakes. Play.

3x5 isnt to difficult, but most tabs out there are incorrect. Check out the sympatico site mentioned above for a perfect one. To play the chords correctly the thumb on lowE is nessecary. You can play a slightly simpler way by playing chords in the "right" technique, but you wont get chords like the second one in the verse (D7) to sound right wout thumb.

Verse

e---0---x---x---x-------0--- ---0---x---x---x------------------
b---3--(1)--3---3---0---3--- ---3--(1)--3---3---0----3--3--3---
g---0---2---0---0---2---0--- ---0---2---0---0---2----0--0--0---
d---2---0---3---2---1---2--- ---2---0---3---2---1----2--0--0---
a---2---x---x---3---2---2--- ---2---x---x---3---2----2--x--x---
e---0---2---3---x---x---0--- ---0---2---3---x---x----0--2--3---
