Aria AW2012..is it a p.o.s????

Unread post by MOE.PHISH » Tue May 03, 2005 7:31 pm

hey yall just wondering if any one has any input on this guitar, im looking to pick up a cheap 12 string to beat around with, but im worried id just be wasting the 120 bucks on this, anyone know how the action is? thats pretty much my primary concern, i dont want no stinking guitar with the strings 3 inches off the fretboard. im not expecting amazing tone or anything, just something decent.

its either that, or save up 250 and get the washburn 12 string similar to my current washburn[/i]

cheap 12ers are always SOOOOOOOO bad. they are nearly unplayable thanks to cheap tuners which make it impossible to keep in tune (and untuned 12ers sound like a fucker) and cheap construction which ussually causes the neck or soundboard to buckle.

poor purchase imo

In My Very Humble Opinions...check pawn shops man. I found some pretty sweet 12er's today for less than 500 dollars that I knew started out around 8 to begin w/. They're used, but who cares, you get to play it before you take it home. Pawn shops are an all to often untapped source for good guitars just because people are afraid to buy used guitars. but if you get to look at it, you get to play it, then it's just as good as gutiar center only it's discounted. the worst that could happen is you don't like the guitar so you don't buy it. my 2 cents.
