defining specific (tough/confusing) chords - help page?

Nobody's perfect, not even the staff here. Have a suggestion, tab correction, or question? Let's hear it!

defining specific (tough/confusing) chords - help page?

Unread post by tjmac66pc » Thu Apr 28, 2005 9:31 am

hello,

don't shoot me if this has been brought up before...i was thinking, often times when i'm looking thru various sites i come across chord names such as Dsus2 or Fmaj7 (and obviously there are hundreds of other tough/weird named chords), and i was thinking since this site is primarily used as a tool for learning guitar styles (specifically dave but general guitar as well) maybe there should be a sticky thread for this sort of thing and/or a separate page...

creating this would prevent users from navigating as much to other sites, and maybe even attract outside (non-dmb guitar players) to view the site based on the simplicity of such a feature (depending upon how simple/user friendly we could make it) ...so in my opinion it would not only help everyone here with chord questions, but may actually target musicians outside of the DMB world as well...i don't know, just a suggestion

hope everyone is doing well! :D

peace,
Tj
