Some Lyrics I wrote

Unread post by gregplaysguitar » Tue Mar 18, 2003 2:08 pm

See if you can guess what this is about. Music is a Don't Drink the Water meets Beauty of Wynonna type of feel.

Called: Fools All Around

look out fools all around
they talk cause they like the sound
but with their words they don't say much
spend all day beating round the bush

wish you could see yourself from over here
waving your banner on the line
leave behind the ones that fell
and the ones that still fight for you

So wont you go to another place
start your own town in outer space
you can take your arguments there
theres not room for more protests here

and so in ending this little bit
i'll say this once and not again
we'll fight to the end for freedom and right
cause in the end we fight the good fight

So wont you go to another place
start your own town in outer space
you can take your arguments there
theres not room for more protests here

I'll post the recording when I get it recorded.

xoosh.....I find it hard to believe that after all of the evidence has come out that people are still willing to give a murderous dictator a chance....we've been giving him chances since '91 and he's broken every promise he's made. At some point we just need to say enough is enough.....

I don't hate you.........In fact I actually like you alot, but I guess were going to have to just agree to disagree. OH, and by the way, I'm not PRO WAR, I'm PRO supporting our president, our troops, and all the people that died for us so we can post on DMB newsgroups and play with our Line 6 DL4  . It is the american way!

Hey guys, the war debate is that way. ;-)

It's definitely a song with a particular slant, but so was "Blowin' in the Wind" and nobody seemed to mind.....

I like the lyrics. Pretty cool flow with a message. At least you're writing about something meaningful. Props. :)

I do not belong to any political party...I am a Christian...I don't blindly follow our President...he is a man of God and I believe his heart is right...as well as his course of action...In this world, war is inevitable...so am I republican (?) no...plain and simple; it just so happens that a conservative view lines up with our forfathers who died for us and stamped "in God and under God"...the ones like Bush who seek peace in this world...peace comes at a cost...it will never be right and perfect until the Lord comes to take his people and reign once again...

just a few thoughts

Reagardless what you view is, the lyrics run together really well and I am waiting for the music part too! :D

Don't worry about pissing people off, bro. You write what you write, and if they can't handle it, well ... fuck 'em. ;)

Look forward to hearing it.
