Anyone ordering from Buffalo Brothers might want to read....

Want to ask about strings, maintenance, amps, mics, or comparisons of different guitars or any music equipment? This is for all threads related to music equipment.

Anyone ordering from Buffalo Brothers might want to read....

Found this over at the Acoustic Guitar Forum. Not sure of the validity but take it as you will. Just thought it might be a good read for anyone looking that direction.

THE FINAL STINKIN STRAW! (buffalo brothers)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So I write a politely worded email-

Bob and Adrian,
I am sorry to say that I will never be able to do, or recommend others
to do business with you or your company ever again. I was sold a
guitar that Mr. Ryan admitted should not have been sold as new and I
was charged for shipping both ways. In all rights gentlemen, had you
been fair businessmen I would have been sent an return shipping label
and also been refunded my original shipping cost for my inconvenience.
Rather, I had to pay return shipping and I was not issued my refund
for one day shy of a full week. Then I find that even though I was
sold the falsely advertised guitar, I am out shipping on the falsely
advertised guitar both ways of course, and now the percentage you
charge on a returned guitar. Let's do the math

35.00 shipping to myself
25.00 shipping back to you
48.00 the percentage you charged
_____
108.00

I am out over 100 dollars simply because your company will not do the
fair thing. If I do not hear from you today I will be disputing your
charges with my credit card companies in order to recover my lost
funds. I have kept one of the on line communities of guitar buyers
that I communicate with up to speed with this transaction and how it
has turned out.
You can refer to this thread at
http://217.160.250.165/forums/showthread.php?t=56833
I will also be sharing my experience with several other online forums
that I regularly participate on.
I will gladly post any reconciliation you decide to make and any
fairness you implement. Here's to hoping you do right by me,

Rafe Grigar
(insert phone # here)

and I get this in response

bb_info to me

No, you're actually out $1087 because you are a moron.

Wow, what a way to run a business, of course I hurriedly checked my accounts and no money has been taken out yet, hopefully just a scare tactic.
Did make me sick to my stomach scared though,

What is the stinkin deal,
Rafe
