1st Post-- Cover of "Creep" by Radiohead

Unread post by oopapercutoo » Sun Jan 02, 2005 5:26 pm

I've been browsing the forums for some time and figured I'd go ahead and post something of mine. This isn't my best work, and I know I mess up my guitar playing a few times in it, but it's the only thing I have on my computer at the moment so I figured I'd post it...

BTW, I absolutely despise my voice, especially the falsetto part, but if you all have any tips you could give me on the singing part I'll gladly listen.

edit:not bad
theres some buzz, and its not my favorite song, your voice is decent though. the guitar is boring but thats not entirely your fault, i may have picked a song that showcased your guitar playing more. overall not bad, keep posting

dmbtabs welcome to it!

thanks for the words....

I agree I could have picked a more lively song to play to showoff my playing a bit more, but that's something I recorded a while back because I was bored and none of my roommates were around...

My recording quality probably won't be able to improve much because I'm using a computer mic that came with the first computer I ever purchased (back in 1994)....so I'm definately not going to achieve a professional style recording with that piece of crap.

Anyway, thanks for the words, and next time I feel the urge to record something I'll pick something a little more complex

you're right, the guitar still needs work. your voice needs more energy and projection.
