somthing kinda off?

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

somthing kinda off?

Unread post by searly » Tue Oct 26, 2004 6:51 pm

I know the tab for DIKG [dreami killed god]that we all know is correct but do u notice that the recordings of the song are a bit off. Its as if the guitars are tuned down a bit....or somthing like that. I love the song but when i play along my guitar doesnt sound in tune....im not a tool i know what a perfectly tuned guitar sounds like. I think there is at least one more of Daves unreleased songs that does this too me as well....just cant think of it....anyways..ur thoughts?...PEACE!

One of my favorites
There's a DSBD of this song that's a million times better than what you have. They play it at the end of Minarets on the Lost Acousitcs. If you don't find it than let me know.

Hey buddy, I don't have an answer to your question, just saw your post and wanted to say what's up... but you are right, i noticed the same. Maybe we just have shitty recordings of the song. Beats me, anyways peace!

how long ago?

He had a higher voice early on though. Unless you are talking about him harmonizing.

I mean when he first started out..I know his vocal range was high at first, but he tuned his guitar a half step down(intentionally or not) and his voice sounded better with it.. I'm talking 90-93's maybe a little later
