So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

i was just listening to the 3.19.94 show at Shubas in Chicago and during the second song, Trippin' Billies daves guitar just flips out of tune. Its weird cause he starts the song and then all of a sudden his guitar just drops like a whole step and he has to miss the chorus and carter has to do a drum solo while dave switches guitars. That's weird isn't it? I mean sometimes my jazz guitars' g string will just drop, but to have all the stings just fuck up at once. anyway, similar situation.

Dave might have just restrung it, you always have to tune it and play a few times, when you get new strings, so they sit properly or whatever

Yea, three of my strings went outta wack last night after I restrung my guitar. I was playing Warehouse and E, A, and D just dropped like 4 steps. It sounded like they broke but I realized it they just stretched badly.
