Two Step Help

Unread post by DMBartender » Tue Aug 31, 2004 12:23 pm

I've finally worked my way around to two step, and I'm having some troubles with the strumming pattern in the verses. Anybody have any words of advice or audio/video clips?

If you just want to get the idea down, its all 16th notes with the accents on the upbeats. As soon as you get that down you can listen for the rests Dave does to allow certain chords to ring. That whole is song is based around 16th notes. Carters groove is 16ths with his bass and the downs and snare accents on the upbeats too. If I were you, Id refer to Carter's snare as to what notes are accented or note. the snare and guitar are the same.
