it does exactly what it says it does to a T.
I use it for electric. The chorus is wonderfully warbly when you set it right and you can get leslie-esque tones from it. Also real subtle will fill out an acoustic well.
The echo shines. I use it for all my soloing. And it is rather blunt so perfect for an echo. The bigital normally sound kinda harsh but this is reall smooth. Just be aware that this means it tends to drop some high frequency in the echo'ed tones. But the original tone is still there. But this can't get crazy like the DL4 or DD6. it's a very vintage echo.
it is definately an awesome pedal. and i can't say enough for the Customer Support of Visual Soound. The owner will personally answer any emails you send in. They are a really good company.

because i know this one doesnt have tap tempo or anything

with the tap tempo you basically just tap your foot 4 times and it goes at the rate you pressed. you control the volume at which the first echo is at, how long between delays, and how long itll take to decrease the volume.
that said, i love my DD-5, but id buy a DL4 if i was rich.

no it is relatively short so it doesn't really matter. there is like a max of 800 ms or just under one second. but i'm not sure. they say on the website. This is an ECHO not a delay, so you can't expect 5 second delay or anything backwards.crash_in_to_me wrote:ok sweet..
so on the h2o, it jsut has one button... so it just goes at a default rate or somthing??.. you cant change it?
I never found much use for "tap temp". i like when the delays sound a bit off. it's more "natural" in that way. more like natural reverb or playing inside of a cave.
