sorry, but i posted this in 2 forums....anybody know anything about the martin x-series in particular the OOOXEblack.....was messin around at guitar center yesterday and nothin really got me until I plugged this thing in...it sounded so sweet...really thinkin about getting it...it was a 5th of july blowout sale for $500...regularly on sale for $650 from the regular $9something.....any info or recommendations are appreciated

They sound great plugged in, and if that's what you want one for, I'd go for it. Unplugged, not so much.

i played one today, it's very nice plugged in. but don't expect to be loud when you're playing it minus electronics. it's just meant to be plugged in! :D
