Why all the Raised B???

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Is there a reason for dave to begin playing everything in raised b....? whatever it is it sounds cool and can anyone help in tuning and setting up my guitar for that tunning?
Please help me...there are worshipers on my ass and chest.
