I'm going to take a stand and say that i love this song.

i just head a solo acoustic version of it and have to say it's one of the best.

It's the only song I skip

Or take a pee break at during a concert

But the line is usually out the door anyway

Yes, I too use "I Did It" as a pee break. So it sucks when they open with it (happened twice to me so far) cause I never have to go pee then.

But this is an appreciation thread, so I appreciate that there is someone out there carrying the burden of how bad this song blows.

Although Everyday is clearly the weakest album the band has, its not all that bad. As a matter of fact I think most people don't like the song just because 'its cool to not like it' or something. Sure its got a pop sound to it, but its not that bad.

I hear ya, but I'm not a member of the "I hate I did it fan club." I have pretty much disliked that song since I first heard it. Just my opinion, I'm not saying anyone who does like it is any less of a human being for it. It's just not my cup o tea. :)

I have ALWAYS liked I Did It, from the first time to now. I also think it sounds great acoustic. I play it on acoustic quite a bit.

I also enjoy "I Did It". I like the live versions I have heard more than the album version. I agree with whoever said that alot of people say they dislike "I Did It"/Everyday because it's the cool thing do. Well I'm a douche-bag and I know it and I happen to like Everyday. Out of all the studio releases it's probably the one I listen to the least but it doesn't mean it's bad.

I like the acoustic versions of it, I think the lyrics are really what I dont like about it, theyre just kinda silly, but still, I dont mind it, but like the others said, itd prolly be my pee break song

i completely agree. i still pop in everyday and listen to the whole thing through from time to time. and i like i did it. live, its a nice, 3 1/2 minute blast of funk. as long as they don't sandwhich it in between angel and if i had it all, i'm not taking a piss. :)

Or with Fool to Think and If I had it All. I almost cried when I heard that last year. I was like 'I Did It' whatever, not something Id like to hear at an end of a set, but its decent. Then they play Fool to Think and If I Had it All?!?!?!?!?!? Dave truely did not like the meadows last year, until the last two songs. I have high expectations for this years show tho.

I did it is funky man, not a bad song at all. Id like it more if JT fans didnt know the lyrics  but it decent and by far the Bands best video!

I def agree with u, ppl seem to just not like it because a lot of other people don't. I think a lot of great songs came from everyday (they might not sound that great on the albulm, but they are awesome live- ex: What You Are)

But anyways, I like I Did It, and i think the video is hilarious, it's one of my fav vids...
