So anybody ever done this and done a little jamming after the show, especially in the parking when it takes three hours before you move (Deer Creek)
I thinking that i might like to do it but i don't know if it is a good idea

i did at alpine this summer... there was a traffic jam going in becuase someone had gotten hit by lightning on the way in (ouch) so i ended up sitting on top of our car playing while we crept in. By the time we got to our spot there was a group of people around us, singing along to the songs i was playing, it was pretty cool
i did it in hartford last year. it was the greatest.
i played at our hotel for 4 hours after the show. and then tailegated with some guys all with guitars before the show the next day.
it is so fun playing dave there because eveyone knows the songs.
bring it! but if you have a really expensive guitar, maybe bring a lower end one

i brought mine to the gorge last year and played an extended version of spoon with a buddy where we traded off solos in the final jam. Guess what? They played it that night and it was my favorite.

Yeah thats what I'm doin... But after the show I will probably be a drunk idiot. Actually I dunno if I'm gonna drink during the show, I'd rather smoke.
