I can understand what happened a little if you were playing really nice guitars but didn't really have any intent on buying them. The more those guitars on the racks are handled, the more likely they are to get damaged and be put into bad condition. It makes sense that the guitar shops don't want you to damage their merchandise. That said, it sounds like they were pretty rude about it.

I went to a guitar store up here and they had hundreds of high end guitars. The guy even told me to play louder because I was too timid on the Taylor. He said I need to know how it sounds if I take it home and he wanted me leaving with a guitar.
I played about 40 guitars in the hour that I was there. I walked out with my Taylor 314ce. It would have been the 814ce they had there but I didn't have that kind of cash
THe moral of this novel....guitar store owners nee dot be open to people playing the guitars...it's important..plus also shows good customer relations....
Peace,

holy thread resurrection, for a second I thought Tico, john, cave and gravedigger were back. This babys almost a year old. I dont understand how a thread this old just gets resurrected with no mention of it, as if the last post was a few hours agohighasatree wrote:up here in Hamilton, my son and I never have a problem plucking and strumming the merchandise, and all i usually end up buying is 2-3 picks.
