this is a very tough question...Before I used to think that everything D&T sounded better than with the band. BUt damn, it's really tough...I think the stone sounds better D&T...the best OSW version is off of R2T, other than that, D&T...Two step is better without the band, unless we're talking about Red Rocks....Jimi thing is better D&T 97' style. Warehouse is better D&T...SMTS is very tough, but I'd have to say better with the band. DDTW definitely better w/ the band. LIOG is best D&T 97' style. 41 is best with the band, although luther is is very close second. Ummm...I'll write more later.

Alas, Brock agrees that tictacs is basically an ass to everyone for no good reason.
No. It's more like, I start out not liking you. If you do something that i like once or twice, then i'm indifferent to you. So guess what boat you are in.
So here's what I think...

You're an asshole and shouldn't post unless you have something positive to contribute rather than, "Your opinion sucks, I play bass and I take offense to anything that doesn't fit my "stupid asshole bass player style""

Eat a dick, fucker.

So if my opinion differs from yours I shouldn't post it, in fear of offending you? I never took 'offense' to anything posted in this thread. Grow a sack of balls buddy.

Oh, and, way to misquote me. :D

I think the oakland D&f version blows it out of the water.

Most of the time comparing DMB songs with D&T songs is like comparing apples and oranges. Just look at songs that are completly different with or without the band i.e.

The Maker
Nancies
WWYS (particularly L@LC version)
many others

Depends what kind of mood I'm in. Whether I wanna party or fall asleep.
