So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

oh come on.
im really not trying to be a dick, but i see more "i can play it, it's not hard"s from you than anyone. [cue letting go, stream]
have you heard letting go? looked at a tab? its not hard, that recording i posted wasnt meant to be right, or even me paying attention to what i was playing, it was to show the sound of the guitar, if you read, it said that.
Yes, I've heard Letting Go. One of my favorite compositions of all time. Have I seen the tab? Yes. Hell, I've tried learning it before, but put it on the backburner because my skills aren't good enough. There is no way that someone that has been playing guitar for a few years can determine Letting Go "not hard". I'm sorry, it is a hard song, no matter how you look at it.
And even if the recording you posted "wasn't meant to be right" why the hell would you do that? "Oh, here's a clip of the song, but I'm not playing to my potential. I'm purposely playing it badly." Why wouldn't you just play to your ability? Or why not choose a song that you know how to play?
God damn do I have a stick up my ass today.
when you have a stick up your ass you're nicer than half the people around here on a normal day.
normaly i like you, but as ive said at least 3 times, it was to show the sound of the guitar, after a day of traveling alot, runnin around all over the place, and you really are tired of playing guitars even though you just got a new one, you might not play to the best of your abilities, oh well,
I'm sorry man. Really I am. The last thing I want on here is fights, so I'm just gonna stop.
*shakes hand*

I often say I can play all the songs but often when I play a bunch for a long time I forget about the rest and have to relearn them. Its kind of a cycle of keeping several as your most practiced, "choice songs" and keeping the rest if you need them.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

i can play and sing to alot of his songs completely, but i'm what you call a sloppy player, meaning crisp notes arent that important to me, in fact to dave i worry more about timing and rhytmn than the notes
