Okay a few things regarding setlists:

First of all many bands that tour as much as DMB play the same exact set every show. I think DMB fans should feel lucky they get some variety thrown in. Second, it is my opinion that most stand up songs are pretty good live. Who cares if ODH is added into a two song encore to make it three? That's another 6 or 7 minutes of DMB before the lights come on. Lastly, I agree that the band is neglecting some of their marquee songs. But if they started playing Last Stop and Halloween at every show they may lose some of their mystique. Personally I wish they mixed up the older songs they play. It seems like they sub in the same group of songs in most of their shows and the sets are becoming somewhat predictable. I guess my main point is that it's easy to bitch about setlists on message boards, but being at a show is enjoyable every time for me. Sorry about the long rant.

OK, probably not, but I will definitely sit down in my seat.
god damnit dude, i can totally relate. EVERYTIME, EVERY SHOW im at there is a WAYG. it definetly gets a little frustrating. overall though, a great night and some real gems on that setlist.

where were you sittin by the way?

WAYG could use some improv on the breakdown to spice it up a little bit. Roi's tone is so good on that song a little improv would go a long way.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

you wouldnt complain about a repeptitive wsetlist if the show the night before you was awesome. I for one dont care, I mean, my main goal this year was to hear Sat Goodbye and #34. I head 34 in san francisco, then they were off to the gorge at which they played say goodbye the final ngiht, next show was san diego.
they played it again, i was stoked that they played it 2 nights in a row. i'd listen to pig every fuckign night, I dont care.

Dont allot of other Bands play the same setlist EVERY night?

People should be pleased DMB can be arsed and care enough about the fans to mix it up EVERY single night.

Sec. 123, Row C. Great seats! Less than half the length of the floor from the stage, three rows back on LeRoi's side. The 1st two rows were short rows, also, so we had a perfectly clear view of the stage for the entire show. I only looked at the jumbotrons to see Dave's hands when he was playing.

how does everyone know every set list in a tour? You guys follow dave's bus or something? I had the opportunity to see him once this summer and he blew me away. i like the slow songs..crash, as well as the jams wwys. his new stuff is hot too. dreamgirl is a beautiful tune, even live.

I think the band does a great job mixing the songs up. they have so much variety and a huge archive of material.
