Is lit ike a sound hole pickup or something? Either way, yeah I would think it'll work. You may need to bump up the Recording volume setting in Windows though. I've fooled with sound hole pickups before and they really don't do the acoustic much justice. Kinda "electified" the sound...Appsoldier wrote:I already have a pickup. its just not active (doesn't have a battery in it). it too has to be plugged up. so i guess i can just do the same thing w/ the line out on the amp. will i be able to hear what im playing (the effects) through the amp at the same time...im not at home so i can't play around w/ this yet, just tyring to figure out what to expect. thanks for the help so far.
I think you should be able to hear your amp while using the line out to record. My only concern would be how much juice it puts out. I'd hate for your to fry your sound card by putting in too much signal. I'm guessing that it's only a slighly pre-amped signal though. Start with a low Recording volume when first using the line-out to be sure. You'll probably get a pretty clean sounding recording.
Remember though; in both cases, you want the 1/4" to 1/8" mono to mono reducer.
