For Those Who Play Without a Pick?

I don't use my nails, but I just started really getting into finger picking, and I am stll not great at it. I love the sound you get out of using your fingers. I use my thumb, index, middle, and sometimes ring finger.

i have a long index finger nail that i use to strum. i actually rarely pick, i need to start again, but i live w/ a lot of people so im always trying to be quiet. sounds fine to me. and i use my nails when fingerpicking.

i absolutely love playin with my hands
i just strum with my thumb, like ranting said, it gives it a warmer sound. i feel i can get just as much accuracy with my thumb than with a pick. when i have to pick certain strings i just do it with my thumb, i play everything with my thumb man....its easier imo
