So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

I played clarinet from 5th grade to 8th grade, then dropped it when I went to highschool. I wasn't crazy about it, I never practiced, and I had no room in my schedule. I was in choir for 1 semester during middle school, but I took it just to get out of basic music class.
So I have had no training on guitar or vocals at all, actualy. You all should have heard me 3 years ago you would be telling me to shut up and to never sing agian, lol.

Yes, I am in a box

Yeah the vocals were ok, you didnt really sing the high parts correctly.
You were using falsetto instead of actually belting it out....try work on that.
The guitar was pretty good, decent cover.

I actualy normaly sing it with the wail. Actualy, I cut out the yell I did, and traded it with a falsetto. For how I did that take, it really didn't fit for the guitar and the rest of the vocals. If you want to hear the wail, I just recorded this little thing. It's not my full potential (I have been sick the past 2 days), so it might be a bit off, but this isw close to what I can normaly do.

kind of held it too short...i don't know how to describe it, but it was a bit too much singing and not enough feeling. i'm diggin' it better than the falsetto, though.

Falsetto is a technique in singing using a voice pitched higher than the singer's natural range. Woman can't sing falsetto....haha...WOOOOOOOO
