I just need to remember to send Yakko a Christmas present if I win this guitar. Because I'd have never known about it other wise. I just hope this guy is legit.

DMBZeppelin wrote:Well I put a bid on the guitar. I'm just going to charge this guitar basically. I charged a T5 when they first came out. Took me a lil' while to pay that off. I've just always really wanted one of these. Hell I mean I drove 25 hours to Vegas (from Northwest Indiana right by Chicago) to see Dave and Tim. Then I drove another 5 to Santa Barbara, and then 30 hours all the way home. So having the guitar of my favorite artist would mean a lot to me. So ya lets hope this works out for me. If I do wind up winning it I'll post some pics and a review.
ive never really wanted someone else to win an ebay auction before.....kinda weird but im pulling for ya, if you drive more than 24 hours for a show you should get a complimentary DM3MD anyways...

if i won the lottery i would bid on it.

Trust me, if I could i would have it -- seeing as dave was the reason i started playing guitar in the first place. But honestly, thats a lot of money especially for a college student :?

You will not be sorry buying a DM3MD. I have watched closely for years as these things come out on Ebay and by now I can usually tell, with a reasonable degree of confidence, which ones are legit. This one looks legit to me.
Good luck! Although I would refrain upping your bid untill the last few minutes of the auction. You don't want to drive the price up too early in the game.

Esnipe.com might help you out, concerning what Danny (taylordb) wrote.

I'm thinking that any car you buy or home you purchase for $3500 is going to be worth less than the DM3MD.

Once you get out of school and are working for a while, $3,500 will not seem like much for a guitar such as this.

Plus, if you become a good enough player, you could possibly use that $3,500 to earn enough to buy a car and a house. So consider it an investment.

If I had to choose between a $3,500 guitar or house. I'll take the guitar every time. I already have a car so I'm stuck bidding on this guitar.
