Finger Exercises are a great way to improve your playing. Often when your starting out your hands will get tired or sore- and the exercises for the insturment get boring- You can do finger exercises while you are watching tv- or anytime you are not using your hands.

Check out greg irvin - finger fitness

The guy is amazing! I have been doing these exercises for years and is often one of the first things I teach my students - at any level of playing- Finger exercises will greatly increase your finger and hand independence.
