the show you have is NOT storytellerslinscait wrote:OK, you guys have really confused me! What do you mean by different versions of the show. If you read my reply above, the Storytellers I have has songs from D&T 4-22-93 and #40 from 5-10-95. When I originally got the show I thought all I was going to get was the songs played on VH-1. So when I got these others songs on it I was surprised. I did not realize that I got screwed until I got copies the shows and realized the person must have put some compilation together. So please tell me what you mean. I would like to do a b&p and hopefully get the right version of it. Billy you have a version and willdmb has a mixed version? Willdmb said they did not allow tapers, so how are you guys getting the whole show. I have the video tape of what was on VH-1 but all the songs were not on it. So how are you getting all the songs? Please unconfuse me.
storytellers is its own complete show
here is the set for the complete show http://www.nancies.org/dmbta/reviews/032499.html
there are 2 "versions"...
the TV version which was what aired on tv, which is the video version you have
and the complete version which is all songs listed in the set link above
of the complete version, there are many difference sources
the sources are AAUD
ASBD
MP3 of the AAUD (100000000 different mp3 versions--one more reason to stay away from mp3)
then there is a mix of the AAUD, ASBD, and the TV version to form a complete mixed version of the show
they didn't allow taping but someone stealthed it
just like scott brown stealthed west point D&T
as for the SBD some crew guy must have got that, rather D&T or VH1
the tv version of course was taken from TV
the MP3 versions were made from the Analog Stealth
