Dave said his goal for this 'tour' thingy is to play kick ass music, and in the end, maybe someone will think.. "Hey, maybe they're not as stupid as we thought". Something like that. But he said the main goal is to tear the roof off of the house. So I doubt he'll say too much about politics.Beauford33 wrote:I dont enjoy political bands as much I enjoy non-political bands. As stupid as it sounds. I dont go to see and band for lyrics, I go to see them play some music.

Huh? Smarter than being Democrat or smarter than voicing his opinion? I don't guess I follow.
It doesn't matter to me either way. Conservative, Liberal, anyone who's cool about things is my friend. I mean, I'm liberal, but yeah.

It'd be disastrous for the fanbase to just go preaching onstage.
Anyhow. I'm a born again liberal. heh.

I've been liberal for as long as I can remember. I'm only 16, but I can honestly say that I have never been close-minded. I mean, at one point, I was so young that I couldn't judge anyone except this one ugly woman who hated me... But hey, other than that, I never really pointed the finger. Thank God my parents NEVER treated me like a baby.andyrice_13 wrote:I used to be young and close minded.Katelyn wrote:Used to be a Conservative, huh?andyrice_13 wrote:Smarter than voicing his opinion onstage.Katelyn wrote:....andyrice_13 wrote:He's smarter than that.i like tictacs wrote:I don't care what he does until he starts talking about it on stage, then I wouldn't be happy

He is on the stage simply to play music and entertain us. We pay good money for just that. We dont need him telling us what to do as far as politics. He even said on the Today show that when he is on the stage, playing music, he is "standing" much higher then when he talks about politics. He said he wants to keep as much distance between the two as possible.

I don't think he ever was telling anyone what to do.
