dave mathews tribute album

Unread post by dmfollower » Wed Oct 30, 2002 8:59 pm

hey.
i don't know if everyone has this cd already but i just got it and i had to special order it from my local music shop. it's a tribute album to the songs of dave mathews band. it's by a bluegrass band called "breathe". i suggest getting this cd, i don't even listen to bluegrass but this album kicks ass. they play all sorts of songs: jimi thing, rhyme and reason, crush, satilite, ants marching, recently...etc. there isn't any words so you don't have to worry about someone trying to get dave's voice right on. i love it just cause it shows just how much bluegrass can be found in dmb's music.

I have Breathe, the bluegrass tribute. It's really well done.

One of my daughters gave me that cd (breathe) a couple of years ago. It is well done...I listen to it about once every couple of months.
I didn't surprise me that they did such a good job because bluegrass musicians are some of the best around.....clearly one of the most difficult types of music to play (bluegrass that is).
