So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Not posting to give a suggestion on a guitar to buy, but posting to say,

I hope you're not buying a baritone guitar just so you can play a couple of non-standard songs.

That's what I did. I don't see anything wrong with it. Maybe at first it's just to play a couple songs that can't be played in standard tuning but you can always learn others. There's tons of songs out there in baritone tuning. It's just a nice guitar to have if you're real serious about playing.

That's kind of like saying don't get a regular six string guitar if you only know how to play a couple songs.

I am serious about playing and have absolutely no intentions on purchasing a baritone guitar.

Haha, you did go a little off topic. Do you want an electric or acoustic?

No, but why buy something I don't need? Maybe when I'm big and famous and can afford it, I might. But for now, I don't need 17 different guitars to write good music.

Haha sorry we did get off topic. I like ibanez baritones to be honest with you. They have a nice, deep sound. But usually they're bought for harder music. I guess it just depends what you're into. But ibanez's are nice

Dave's guitar is a Jerry Jones, and Jerry Jones guitars are actualy based off classic Danelectro guitars because Danelectro went out of buisness. Now Danelectro is back, but at very low quality, both their guitars and effects.

I suggest the Fender VI (Jaguar Baritone). You can see it in the Beatles' Let It Be movie.
