Well, one thing you can always do, is get a guitar to by the time, then trade it in when you have the rest of the money, and buy the HDs. Personaly, I havn't played any of them, but I know most people will tell you taylor or martin, and of course fatjack will go

WOOOOOOOOOOOOO, ALVAREZ, WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

So, I say buy a guitar, save up the rest, tade in, and get the high end.

YO....I forgot to tell you when we were talking about a website.... http://www.buffalobrosguitars.com/ Check their upgrade policy. http://www.buffalobrosguitars.com/upgrade.html You can buy a guitar now and trade it in later....and you get a credit for the exact price you paid for the guitar. This is where I got my D-16RGT for $885(they have basically the same prices as elderly). Buy the guitar you want and in a year trade it in for a HD-28 or HD-35 if that is still the guitar you want....or something else!

you need to try all three of those guitars you mentioned to see which one you prefer

i have an AD60, and i highly recommend getting that one, but you need to try all of before you make your decision

im not a big fan of the 312 or any grand concert model simply because i strum mostly, and strumming a GC isnt as good sounding as a dread/jumbo/GA. make sure you play the other models too.

even though ive never bought from buffalo bros id have to agree with kanter.

by the way, dont buy a martin online. theyre too inconsistant. play the one you buy.

Alvarez guitars are the greatest thing. All the dealers around me only carry Alvarez or Dean. Martins and Taylors are almost never found around here. I love my Alvarez. Everyday I strum at least one open position chord and just let it ring until it runs out. It reminds me why I bought the guitar.

Hey kanter how do you like your D-16RGT?

I saw that you had a D-15 and thats what I have right now. I was also looking at upgrading to a D-16RGT, so could you briefly compare the two sounds please. I dont want to waste your time with the specs just first hand sound and other stuff like how does it feel compared to the D-15 which is really light. Thanks.

Well...I never did have a D-15. I'm not CRAZY about the Mahogany sound but it's a great guitar. I like the boom of the Rosewood back and sides. It just is more pleasing to MY ear....but it's all personal preference really
